Kendrick Lamar has come a very, very long way in recent years. While most are probably still digesting To Pimp a Butterfly and Kendrick’s next musical move is probably many months away, this previously-unreleased Kendrick cut should give diehard followers something new to add to their playlists. The eagle-eyed rap fans at Reddit have unearthed an old Kendrick cut entitled “Hub City’s Wild Side.” The song is believed to be from 2008 or 2009, and was made when Kendrick Lamar still went under K. Dot. While this song doesn’t come close to Kendrick’s output in recent years, the song is definitely worth your time if you want to gain some more insight on the pre-Overly Dedicated Kendrick.
