German publishing house Gestalten lifts the lid on the world of independent distilleries in this short film about the artisans involved in the creation of Brooklyn whiskey, Mexican mezcalero and a rum from Berlin. An accompanying video for the publishers’ new Out Of The Jar book, the six minute short offers genuine insight into the craft that goes into making the bespoke drinks and allows the viewer to discover a world away from a drinks market saturated by conglomerates.
