After much ado, Microsoft has finally rolled out the update to its hallmark PC platform, dropping Windows 10 in 190 countries worldwide today. As outlined in our previous report, the upgrade marks a distinctly streamlined experience for Windows users, offering a multi-device platform for phones, tablets and personal computers – more personal computing, if you will. The suite is jam-packed with features including the emergence of the Edge web browser; Cortana – the Halo-inspired personal digital assistant; Office Mobile app versions of Word, Excel and more; and a dedicated Xbox app. Windows 10 is also built with enterprise-grade security for companies running the software.
