For this week’s installment of Essentials we take a look at the daily must-haves of Toronto-based artist Jimmy Prime. Jimmy’s selection shows his love for not only the finer things, but for life’s simple pleasures as well. Balmain jeans and Tom Ford Tuscan Leather cologne ensure he’s always looking and feeling fresh, and you can never go wrong with a classic, which is why he prefers a crisp pair of Nike Air Force 1s to other sneakers. The keys to his Benz and a stack of Canadian hundreds are a constant reminder that hard work pays off, and it’s always nice to feel ballin’ after all. An iPhone and mophie external charging case keep him connected no matter where he may be, which could be anywhere at any given time which is why he keeps his passport with him in case of any last minute travels. His MacBook, Lacie drive full of his music and Beats headphones are never far from his side, but when he’s not working on music you can probably find him playing FIFA ‘15, where his allegiances lie with Paris Saint-Germain and Zlatan Ibrahimović. He always keeps a bottle of his favourite Fiji close at hand, as well as candy for him (Sour Patch Kids) and his daughter (Smarties).
