Air Jordan 1.5 "Chicago"
Jordan Brand’s long lost prototype is set to hit retail for the first time.

If you missed out on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” back in May, you’re in luck: Jordan Brand has a unique take on His Airness’ original signature on tap for a release later this month. Originally crafted back in the ’80s, the unique Air Jordan 1.5 was a prototype that followed up the original Air Jordan 1. Previously unreleased, the 1.5 utilizes the iconic “Chicago” upper of the Air Jordan 1 — interestingly, however, the kicks cast the wings logo’s “Air Jordan” text aside in favor of “Nike” branding — and the midsole and outsole tooling of what would eventually become the Air Jordan 2.
The unique piece of footwear history is due out July 25 for $150 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers.
