Agenda New York 2015 Summer Recap
Our impressions from Agenda’s New York stop.
The midpoint of the summer is typically marked by, amongst other things, Agenda arriving in New York. It was – without exaggeration – an average of 72 and sunny in Long Beach at the last outing, with positive skate-centric vibes circling throughout. Where a lackadaisical wave floated throughout California, New York’s stop is necessarily defined by a sense of grind. Amongst people, rising brands aiming to make their impression on street culture and burgeoning photographers – everyone’s conversation in New York starts and ends with the notion of work. It’s this sense of perseverance that defines the East Coast hustle; a mentality in which results, not frivolities, drive attention. The swamp-ish humidity didn’t stop the brightest from New York from coming to socialize, shoot the industry shenanigans and highlight the cultural progressions.
