Notorious for his selectiveness for his own archive of music, Dr. Dre has decided that the Apple Music platform is worthy of his seminal solo debut, The Chronic. According to Rolling Stone, the album will be available in its entirety when the streaming service launches this Tuesday, June 30. Prior to the announcement, the album has been noticeably absent from Spotify, Rhapsody and the now-defunct Beats Music due to litigation between Dr. Dre and Death Row Records over its digital rights. In 2011, Dre won the court case as the judge ruled that Death Row only owns the rights to the 1992 project’s physical copies.
