From videos to new singles produced by Tommy Brown, singer-songwriter Victoria Monet has been spending the year showcasing why she’s one of her craft’s strongest prospects. Now, she’s finally sharing her latest project, Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II. Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II features seven new songs from Monet, including a collaboration with T.I. Tommy Brown serves as the EP’s executive producer, while Mr. Franks and Travis Sayles are also responsible for some of the project’s production. Speaking about the release to Billboard, Monet describes the EP as such:
“Nightmares & Lullabies is a metaphor for the juxtapositions ones life can display – bad days vs the best ones and how they can play off of each other…It also describes my sound. My voice represents the lullaby, and the tribal undertone in the music is dark like a nightmare.”
