Last month, Azekel dropped quite possibly his best track yet, “Mad About the Boy,” filled with swagger, upbeat genre-bending production, and lyrics about getting a lover to admit she’s into him when he knows she is. On “Sold My Love,” which we’re premiering today, the London-based singer, songwriter and producer dug deep to the opposite end of the spectrum. That’s not a bad thing, though. On this one, he skillfully uses space, piano-driven production and his emotive vocals to confront lost love, things coming to an end, and facing the truth. Both tracks will be featured on Azekel’s Raw, Vol. 1 EP, due out July 12 via Thunderlightning Recordings.
