Originally made available at BEAUTY & YOUTH UNITED ARROWS locations across Japan earlier last month, the anticipated monkey time x ASICS 2015 GEL-Lyte V has now been scheduled for release in the USA. Originally inspired by American film noir and nicknamed “Lights & Shadow,” the collaborative design features a block white, perforated forefoot that leads through to a contrasting heel counter, lace column, and tongue compartment constructed from a mixture of black leather and elasticated sport fabric. Sitting atop a supportive gel cushion, the design is completed with a speckled midsole, embroidered tongue branding, and mix-stitch lacing in black and white.
