After dropping the highly anticipated In Colour and a 25-minute mix of alternate takes for Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, Jamie xx is back with even more new music. The xx frontman was commissioned to score the upcoming Tree of Codes — a ballet inspired by the Jonathan Safran Foer novel of the same name and put together by the Manchester International Festival. Teased above, the ballet’s trailer offers up the first listen to Jamie’s contributions to the project — in this case, a track called “Pianna.”
