Success always comes at a price. The idea of ‘the hustle’ is well-documented these days, and everybody from social media superstars to interns seem to be doing it. In skateboarding, Nike SB and Real Skateboards rider Ishod Wair embodies the hustle. While having an understanding and sympathetic mom is certainly a luxury, that’s not to say that Wair’s meteoric ascent to the top of professional skating wasn’t entirely calculated.
