With Apple expected to formally announce its streaming service at the Worldwide Developers Conference today in San Francisco, BuzzFeed News is now reporting that Apple, alongside Beats Music co-founder Jimmy Iovine, have been aggressively pursuing Kanye West in order to exclusively release his forthcoming album, SWISH. The two parties have yet to reach an agreement, however it’s rumored that Iovine and West are still in the middle of negotiations. Ironically, Kanye is already one of the co-owners of TIDAL, however Apple is a much bigger platform to get his music out to the public at this point, so it’ll be interesting on how things pan out. Stay tuned.
