A Classical Symphony Tribute to Hip-Hop History

Back in March, artist JIMEK orchestrated and directed a beautiful rendition of classic hip-hop songs with the help of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR). The orchestra did a marvelous job executing symphonic covers of classic oldies like Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says” and ATCQ’s “Electric Relaxation” to newer anthems like Wiz’s “Black and Yellow.” The video is comprised of audience-made footage from the concert that was held at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall in Katowice, Poland.
