3.1 Phillip Lim 2016 Spring Collection

For Spring 2016, 3.1 Phillip Lim looked to break stereotypical views in menswear by playing with proportions and providing twists to certain staple items. Traditional suit jackets were cut loosely and paired with skirts, in what appears to be a tongue-in-cheek portrayal of the affluent man, with unorthodox pin-striping and cut-outs. Military pieces were also present but again, the fashion house added a playful touch by relaxing the silhouettes and adding thin veils to the trousers for an interesting effect.
