Raw Soviet-era style runs rampant again.
Since coming into the spotlight, Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has gone from strength to strength with his raw Soviet-era aesthetics. For the 2016 spring collection, we find more sportswear garments adorned by models in an aptly fitting backdrop, which is reminiscent of an old gym. Bright colors and throwback pieces such as pullover tops and vests run rampant, yet subtle, more refined jackets can still be seen. Not just content with his choice of bright, fluorescent colors, the Russian designer played with a myriad of prints to add to a little flavor to that sportswear sensibility.
