The folks over at HYPETRAK are taking us behind the scenes of our favorite sounds with its new series, The HYPETRAK LAB. Inviting us inside the minds and studios of prolific producers and artists, the series aims to give us an inside look into the music industry, while learning about how sounds are made today. In its inaugural episode, we get an inside look at how beats can be made at home with producer Nicholas Cheung. Showing off how to sample beats, chop them up, add instrumentals and finally how to mix, Cheung makes it look easier than it really is. But in the age of the Internet and computers, it has become more accessible than ever. Check it out above, and make sure to head over to HYPETRAK for more music-related news.
