A song that features such talent as Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder and Pharrell Williams is only deserving of an epic music video, which is exactly what we have on our hands with the visual treatment for “California Roll.” Directed by Warren Fu, the video is an insane blend of aesthetic styles, from 1940s retro and Ancient Egyptian, to futuristic and surrealist. The video also stars Nia Long, who is noted for her appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air back in the ’90s. “California Roll” is the latest single from Snoop Dogg’s 13th studio album BUSH which was just released and was produced entirely by Pharrell, with additional production by his The Neptunes partner Chad Hugo.
