Marking the brand’s first-ever women’s only European store, Nike officially opened the doors to its latest retail space on London’s King’s Road this week. Located on one of the city’s most iconic shopping streets, Nike King’s Road’s impressive 207-square-meter space has been created to “inspire the women of London to reach their athletic potential” by offering a selection of the best Nike performance products and on-site customer service. Standing as the brand’s third women’s only retail concept next to spaces in Shanghai, China and Newport Beach, California, Nike King’s Road will offer bespoke services such as pant hemming, gait analysis and bra fitting, as well as the usual plethora of advice on the best products suited to specific personal requirements. Geared towards turning King’s Road into one of London’s fitness hubs, the new store will also offer free weekly Nike+ Training Club classes and a Nike+ Run Club that can be booked via an in-store digital community wall that connects consumers to Nike events across London. Vice president and general manager of Nike stores Heidi O’Neill says:
“Our new King’s Road store is yet another example of our commitment to women to bring them the very best of Nike. Our women’s business has never been stronger and our deep connections with women at retail are helping fuel this growth.”
