Following the highly anticipated release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, we take a closer look at Marvel’s collaborative partnership with adidas for the special edition, superhero-centric adizero Prime Boost. Forming part of a larger collection that expands into the realms of product memorabilia, the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ x adidas adizero Prime Boost made appearances in the film itself and features a design inspired by its fastest character, Quicksilver – played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The shoe’s seamless Primeknit upper attributes itself well to the character it was based around with a monochromatic silver and grey palette accented by bight green detailing throughout. Around the heel counter sits a supportive plastic cage for added stability with a Recovery Boost midsole, breathable mesh paneling and printed Avengers branding across the shoe’s heel tab and insole. The limited edition ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ x adidas adizero Prime Boost along with other sporting footwear models and apparel inspired by the characters of Marvel’s latest project is available to purchase directly at adidas online or in one of its selected retailers worldwide.
