Following the successful release of the Hypervenom, Nike proudly presents the Hypervenom II model, specifically made for football attackers. Inspired by a ‘belly of the beast’ aesthetic, the Hypervenom II is geared for deadly agility, and was designed for attacking players who make quick and unpredictable movements on the soccer field. It takes design cues from the Nike Flywire, and features a gray, responsive loft mesh upper, additional siping in areas that have heavy ball contact, a split-toe design, a bright orange Swoosh logo, and a dynamic, bright orange, wrap-around zig-zag graphic throughout the plate and sidewalls. The eyestays also feature a zigzag pattern throughout the lateral side. The enhanced mesh material varies in density to support movement — a new feature that diverges from the first Hypervenom with its uniformed upper. The Hypervenom II is also the first Nike Football boot to incorporate the Dynamic Fit Collar with NikeSkin and All Conditions Control (ACC), which is intended to make the soccer boot feel like an extension of your own leg.
The Nike Hypervenom II will be available for purchase via the Nike Football app May 25, followed by a May 27 release online. A women’s model sporting a lime green and bright blue colorway will also be released June 2 via the Nike Soccer app.
