New Kurt Cobain Album Coming This Summer
Brett Morgan, director of the upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary, ‘Montage of Heck’ has just unveiled

Brett Morgan, director of the upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary, ‘Montage of Heck’ has just unveiled with Bedford + Bowery, that a new Kurt Cobain album is coming this Summer. It appears everything came about when they were gathering pieces of Cobain’s past for the documentary and ended up involved listening to hundreds of hours of recordings made by Kurt and his friends (and Courtney, and his punk band Fecal Matter, and more). It appears now that those hundreds of hours of recordings will be edited down to an album slated to release this Summer.
Director Brett Morgan stated:
“It will feel like you’re kind of hanging out with Kurt Cobain on a hot summer day in Olympia, Washington as he fiddles about. It’s going to really surprise people,” he said, adding that the album will be “just Kurt and you’re going to hear him do things you never expected to come out of him.”
Meanwhile, ‘Montage of Heck’ is set to air on HBO on May 4. Anyone excited?
