Jamie Foxx Credits Kanye West for Helping Him Break Into the Music Industry

After making a surprise appearance at the highly anticipated Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight to sing the national anthem, famed actor-singer Jamie Foxx stopped by the Ellen show this week to chat about his experience in the music industry. While the Texas native has had quite a lucrative acting career, Foxx explains that his journey in music has not been quite as fluid, hitting many road bumps on the way to being accepted as a singer in addition to an actor.
