Parisian designer Damir Doma has unveiled the 2015 fall/winter lookbook for his subsidiary fashion line SILENT by Damir Doma. The images offer insight on the collection’s creative process by pairing select pieces with its geographical source of inspiration. Well-known for his affinity towards black, grey and white, Doma’s latest black and white photographs of natural landscapes are matched with their styled counterparts. A wall structure, barring surrounding trees is placed alongside a collar shirt, flaunting a strong linear silhouette. Likewise, rugged seaside cliffs with pointed edges have been captured, and reproduced in the lookbook beside a crewneck sweatshirt, sporting a tailored neckline, further emphasized by its sharp, triangular drop and ribbed cuffs, effectively creating staggered arm sleeves. Notable designs rounding out the lookbook include an elongated zipper bomber jacket, a black sweatshirt, purposefully cut in order to highlight its raw hem, and a cool grey tee prominently featuring two white stripes down both shoulders.
