Public School's Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne Named Creative Directors of DKNY

Donna Karan International announced today that Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the founders of New York-based brand Public School, are the new creative directors of DKNY. They will oversee both the men’s and women’s collections and will present their first collection during New York Fashion Week in September. In just a few years they have established Public School as one of the hottest upcoming labels, known for its street-inspired sensibility and classic American construction. The brand has been awarded generously, winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013, the CFDA Award for Menswear Design in 2014, and the first-ever International Woolmark Prize for menswear in 2015. Fans of the brand will be happy to know that it will be business as usual at the label, with Chow and Osborne splitting their time between Public School and DKNY.
