Burgeoning New York label Public School continues to expand on its ever-growing affiliation with the Air Jordan brand by adding its touch to a pair of Jordan Melo M11 sneakers. Dubbed “Melo Card,” the nickname and themed colorway is a personalized, expressive take on the New York City Subway’s MetroCard design. Coupled with the color motif, Carmelo Anthony’s native Brooklyn roots have also been creatively instilled in the sneaker’s execution through the dotted, triangular perforations across the side of the M11 upper, which spell out “NYC.” Both paired insoles feature a 34th Street Station graphic, conclusively tying together the MetroCard concept. Limited to only the family and friends of the designer duo, stay tuned for future information regarding a potential general release of this eye-catching rendition of Carmelo’s latest signature model.
