Recorded around 1989 (not a typo), the Dam-Funk track, “When I’m With U I Think of Her” just got a new video by Rua Acorn featuring Spike Bones, as Spike Bones, and work from Jonathon Acorn. From the 2010 released album, Adolescent Funk, “When I’m With U I Think Of Her” seems like it will be forever relevant and honestly, the new vid is equally as timeless. Rumor has it, there may be a sequel but in the meantime Dam-Funk is touring the US with Todd Rundgren and will be releasing a solo album Invite The Light following.
