Killer Mike To Attend The White House Correspondents' Dinner

Great honors for Killer Mike as he’s been invited to the next White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which takes place this Saturday on April 25. The event goes down one day after Mike is scheduled to hold a talk on race relations at MIT. As The Washington Post reports, He’ll be there on behalf of The Huffington Post. Fellow musicians on the VIP list include Ciara, Gladys Knight, Pete Wentz, and Rob Thomas. The Atlanta native has expressed his views on race relations multiple times on stage and has written pieces for USA Today, on CNN, Billboard op-ed, and more. On top of that, Run the Jewels’ latest video, “Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck),” sets its focus on police brutality.
