This week has been another busy one, with releases coming from every corner of the music world. Making the cover of our 68th Playlist is young rising star Vic Mensa, who delivered his Kanye-conbributed banger “U Mad” earlier this week. Another track to cause as much buzz is the alternate version of Kanye West’s “All Day,” which featured To Pimp A Butterfly rapper Kendrick Lamar. Whether this was a demo or an unofficial remix is still unknown, but we are glad to get to listen to Dot’s fiery 16. Drake unveils “My Side” as a bonus track part of the upcoming physical release of his chart-topping project If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Tyler, The Creator was also causing buzz with the Cherry Bomb drop, and he is spotlighted this week with the track “SMUCKERS,” which exhibit equally excellent verses from Kanye and Lil Wayne. Jaden Smith is another big-name player to shake up the music world with his jazz-hip hop joint titled “Offering.” Other artists on this week’s Playlist include Hudson Mohawke, Crystal Castles, RATATAT, Chuck Inglish, Doja Cat, Michael Uzowuru, Porter Robinson, A-Track, Tiesto, HONNE, Gramatik, Jon Bellion, A$AP Twelvyy, and more.
