Concepts x ASICS Tiger GEL-Lyte III “Boston Tea Party” NYC Launch Recap

Premium footwear retailer Concepts is well-known for its unique collaborative launches, having already executed the launch of its “Luxury Goods” and “8-Ball” in spectacular fashion. For the vendor’s latest “Boston Tea Party” release, Concepts has constructed an installation which mimicked the events of 1773 where Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty refused to give in to the British Parliament, before boarding their ships in the Boston harbor and throwing 342 chests of tea overboard. This act is said to have sparked the American Revolution. Concepts will release its ASICS Tiger GEL-Lyte III collaboration which is inspired by this significant moment in American history on May 2. The classic runner is rendered in a patriotic ensemble with a red, blue, and white suede upper complete with shiny gold and silver branding at the side panels. Toe box perforations, namesake branding along the heel, and a range of lace options round out this special design.
