Tinashe - Bated Breath

Less than a month after she revisited her 2014 album Aquarius for a self-shot, sultry video for the LP’s title track, Tinashe continues to support last year’s project with a video for “Bated Breath.” The song’s visual comes as Tinashe stands about a month away from embarking on a massive tour, so it makes sense that she’s trying to garner as much attention for the music of Aquarius as she possibly can. The video for “Bated Breath” was filmed in the Mohave Desert, where director Stephen Garnett filmed Tinashe in a “pretty DIY” fashion for about five hours. Tinashe expressed her admiration and appreciation for Garnett’s past work, saying she was a fan of his shoots before they even began work on the “Bated Breath” video. The “2 On” songstress has stated that she always had a desire to work with Garnett, who apparently calls “Bated Breath” one of his “favorite songs.”
