Flako featuring Miguel Atwood-Ferguson - Twelve O'Clock Shadow

Like Flying Lotus, sound-weaver Flako can get the impressively-talented LA multi-instrumentalist Miguel Atwood-Ferguson to work magic on record. A couple months after releasing a popular solo song entitled “Kuku,” Flako calls upon the California composer for a downcast, wispy piece of instrumental sorcery entitled “Twelve O’Clock Shadow.” Flako and Atwood-Ferguson appear to work together seamlessly on the track, which unfolds like it comes from the same creative mind. Flako had nothing but praise and admiration for Atwood-Ferguson when asked about the collaboration for its premiere on FADER, and says the whole process behind the song was “easy and effortless” and left both artists craving more time together as collaborators. You can listen to “Twelve O’Clock Shadow” below, while Flako’s debut album Natureboy will be out on March 23.
