Big Sean is definitely blessed. The GOOD Music rapper’s third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, has scored Sean his first number one album. Dark Sky Paradise debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, having moved 173,000 units its first week. This number far exceeds the sales of previous albums, with his debut album Finally Famous amassing 87,000 in its first week and its follow-up Hall of Fame earning the least of the three at 72,000. And, unlike both those albums, Dark Sky Paradise hit number one on its arrival. Both albums prior to Dark Sky Paradise debuted at three on the Billboard 200 and never managed to climb higher. Big Sean probably heard the news following the experience of another career high — the “IDFWU” rapper was involved in a massive, surprise London show thrown by Kanye last night.
