Located in a tranquil setting between El Portixol and Cala Blanca, the Casa Sardinera by Ramon Esteve Estudio is constructed on top of a hillside overlooking the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. This spectacular residence was designed to enhance the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and features various amenities including a gym, sauna and an indoor pool and outdoor pool that are linked by a longitudinal window. The east and west faces of the house are contrasting, with the entrance façade being protected from the sun exposition by an automatic system of adjustable blinds made of whitened Accoya wood, while the other façade makes use of white concrete vertical surfaces enclosed by large panes of glass, allowing much more natural light to permeate through into the residence. The bedrooms on the first floor open up towards the horizon via their own veranda and the surrounding garden space is segmented into different zones, each displaying a similar concept of an indigenous Mediterranean garden.
