Helmed by founder and designer Hiroaki Shitano, WHIZ LIMITED ushers in the warm season with a Spring/Summer 2015 collection of progressive Tokyo streetwear. This time around, Shitano — who established the label in 2000 — was inspired by a tumultuous combination of war and political unrest, resulting in a range that attempts to “recognize the world” through a diverse offering of re-appropriated military and ethnic-inspired designs. Standouts from the collection, accordingly, include the army-style, all-over print Leopard Vest, Chief L/S T-Shirt and the patterned, keffiyeh-style Shemagh, while the brand’s Stadium Jacket adds a dose of athletic style to the mix.
