According to BuzzFeed News, Apple is set to debut the redesigned Apple TV at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June. The new Apple TV will be a significant overhaul of the previous version with the Cupertino giant pushing the boundaries of what a TV viewing experience encompasses. In addition to new features like Siri and an App Store complete with a Software Development Kit, the box will accommodate the company’s latest A8 system-on-chip for a significant increase in memory, a new and improved operating system, while also enabling users to control an array of HomeKit-enabled home automation devices. Though an official price has yet to be announced, pricing for the current Apple TV recently got trimmed from $99 USD to $69 USD so expect the redesigned version to be available at a similar range.
