Nike+ Partners with Wearable Tech Brands to Encourage Runners Around the World

After months of collaboration, Nike will launch partnerships with a list of wearable tech brands, including Garmin, TomTom, Wahoo Fitness and Netpulse, to allow more runners the ability to connect their favorite devices/equipment to the Nike+ community. The updated app will make pairing with these new partners a cake walk, offering the benefits of Nike+ with just a few clicks. This update also boasts several enhancements, including an optimized landscape/armband mode that makes it easier to control the in-run experience, easier in-run music controls and improved access to route maps for iOS devices. While Androids will receive updated shoe-tagging and a new auto-pause mode that automatically halts the session when the runner stops.

The Nike+ Running App will available for download starting March 9.
