Nike continues to roll out interesting colorways of the KD7 with its latest iteration, dubbed the Electric Eel. This continues the theme of electricity, a nod to the electrifying gameplay of the reigning MVP, that has been constant throughout the seventh run of Kevin Durant‘s signature sneaker: previous releases included references to Benjamin Franklin as well as the temperate of a lightning strike. This particular pair features a dark black upper accented by metallic speckles and lime green accents, meant to depict the electricity—sometimes up to 860V worth—that runs through the shoe’s namesake sea creature. The Nike KD7 Electric Eel drops next Thursday, March 19 for $150 USD through Nike’s website.
