Peter Lyons - Leave Me

It’s always interesting to hear how artists have navigated their careers to get where they are now. In the case of burgeoning singer, songwriter and producer Peter Lyons, he started building notoriety a couple of years ago as part of the duo Peter & Kerry, which is no longer active. Since then, he’s been a model and rep for Adidas, toured with fellow Brits Lianne La Havas, Laura Mvula and Lucy Rose, featured on songs by a variety of artists and done some remixes for others. There are a couple of tracks from him out there online that you can find, but none are as fully-realized as the one we’re premiering today. On “Leave Me,” Lyons’ falsetto glides over delicate electronic production that seamlessly balances violins and synths to create something pretty special.
