If you just love the smell of the grill inside fast food restaurants, this piece of news might excite you. In one of the weirder, wackier marriages of food and fashion, Burger King is reportedly set to release a “Flame Grilled” fragrance to its Japanese market. While the April 1 release date may at first seem suspect, that date also marks what is officially “Whopper Day” in Japan. The limited edition perfume, which comes with the purchase of a Whopper, will go for the price of ¥5,000 ($41 USD), and will be limited to one per customer when it does go on sale. Also being offered in celebration of Whopper Day is the “Whopper Pass” which will also go for the bargain price of ¥5,000 and entitle its holder to 30 days straight of Whopper meal deals.
