Vanilla Ice Arrested Under Suspicion of Burglary

Trouble in the news today for Vanilla Ice as the “Ice, Ice Baby” rapper was arrested in Lantana, Florida under suspicion of burglary and grand theft. As TMZ points out, Robert Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice, has been hosting a reality television show about flipping houses called The Vanilla Ice Project. Earlier this month, at a location near the shooting of the reality TV series, a vacant property adjacent to the filming site was burglarized, with furniture, bicycles, a pool heater and more all being stolen from the residence. Police obtained a search warrant for the house Ice was currently renovating and, strangely enough, found all the missing items inside. After returning the items to the owner, Robert was taken into custody under suspicion of involvement in the crime. While it is reported by Lantana police chief Sean Scheller that Ice is being co-operative, it seems unlikely the DIY Network will be happy about their reality show hosts real life drama.
