Tyler, The Creator Is Launching an Internet TV Channel

Never far from creative endeavors, Tyler, The Creator will be expanding his foray onto Internet television, a realm he’s long been associated with. During the recent Code/Media conference in Las Vegas, the Odd Future frontman announced that he would be teaming up with Lloyd Braun of Santa Monica-based company Whalerock Industries to create a new internet TV channel. Having worked with Cartoon Network and Sony in the past, the new project looks to draw audiences over from services such as Netflix and Hulu, winning subscribers based on its original content. Eliminating the “middle man” in this ambitious undertaking, Tyler’s charisma might just be what sets his platform apart from the rest.
