New York City-based Rocksmith celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a new 2015 spring collection titled “Sport & Street.” The lookbook was shot by Trashhand in Chicago and features Chi-Town native hip-hop artist G Herbo — Lil Herb — in various industrial and basketball court settings. Made with technical mixed-fabric athletic garments, the range features a red, black, and white color scheme and is comprised of casual streetwear items like sweatpants, matching tracksuits and jersey-inspired shirts. Patterns are in abundance, such as the reflective money signs, the pinch-stitch quilted french terry, and the “Shinobi” capsule which is made of a blend of mesh and cotton, and features grosgrain tape detailing. The range also pays homage to its Tokyo roots by featuring Japanese motifs, including the Tsuru bandana pattern as well as the label’s name written in Katakana. The Rocksmith “Sport & Street” collection will be available next week online and at Rocksmith stockists.
