In honor of NBA All-Star Weekend 2015, seasoned retailers Packer Shoes and Sneakersnstuff have come together for an expansive collection of apparel, footwear, and collector’s items under the title, “Token 38.” The design layout of the Packer/Sneakersnstuff token pays homage to New York’s original subway token, a creative motif seen throughout the collection. Classic Reebok sneakers such as the Shaq AttaqKamikaze IIQuestion Mid and Pump Fury have been reimagined to showcase the culture and vivid color of New York, the host city of this year’s All-Star festivities. In addition to the special shoe colorways, Packer Shoes and Sneakersnstuff have produced apparel (not seen here) including a leather varsity jacket, beanie, crewneck sweatshirt, and unique throwback jerseys through Mitchell & Ness. A limited edition, Jason Markk “Token 38” Mini-Sneakerbox Boutique Kit, and Friends & Family Tin Box Set rounds out the strong effort. The collection will be available exclusively at the Token 38 pop-up space located inside the Refinery Hotel. For more information, head over to the microsite here.
