According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple is looking to take on yet another segment of the tech market: the automotive industry. Seeking to go up against the likes of Google and Tesla, the Cupertino-based giant supposedly has hundreds of employees working on codename “Titan”: a compact minivan-like vehicle. While details of the project are virtually nonexistent, the design is likely to be an electric-drive vehicle and may even be driverless like Google’s self-driving concept. Furthermore, last year’s addition of Marc Newson to Jony Ive’s team means that the renowned industrial designer may be involved in in the project.

Stay tuned for developments regarding Project Titan and head on over to The Wall Street Journal‘s website for more.
