HiFi audio brand Sonos has unveiled its first limited edition speaker, the Blue Note PLAY:1. Created in collaboration with world-renowned jazz label Blue Note Records, this opportunity arose among similar interests of both companies in ”[enabling] listeners to make an emotional connection to groundbreaking music.” Also in celebration of Blue Note’s recent 75th anniversary, the speaker is outfitted with a new Blue Note on Sonos radio station with custom playlists by label artists such as Robert Glasper, Jose James, Lionel Loueke and Blue Note president Don Was. The Blue Note PLAY:1 retails for $250 USD and will be available soon exclusively online, while the custom Sonos radio station is available now at Sonos online.
