Amazon Reportedly Wants to Buy RadioShack Stores to Compete with Apple
Over the years Apple has established itself as the industry leader in the area of retail

Over the years Apple has established itself as the industry leader in the area of retail experience, but may soon find some stiff competition coming its way. E-commerce giant Amazon is reportedly in talks with RadioShack to purchase a number of brick-and-mortar stores from the failing electronics chain, and use them as showrooms for products as well as pick-up and drop-off locations for online orders. While Amazon has built its entire business online, the physical presence will allow the company to showcase its growing range of hardware, including the Kindle tablets, Fire smartphones, and the new Echo speaker.
