As the greater audience prepares for the launch of the Apple Watch in March, many tech developers are eagerly preparing their own apps to fit on the device. In line with developments in the automotive industry, ELEKS has developed a third-party app on behalf of Tesla, allowing owners to control their cars at the (literal) flick of the wrist. Designated to Tesla Model S cars for the rollout, the app allows drivers to check the car’s battery life and engine temperature, as well as unlock and lock the vehicle. As an added bonus, the ELEKS app will help drivers pinpoint their parking space in lots and on streets.
