Mixing Nike’s sportswear sensibilities with sacai’s softer aesthetic for another stellar collaboration.
sacai‘s stellar collaboration with NikeLab is going from strength to strength. The Japanese label by Chitose Abe has unveiled a Holiday collection for the sportswear giant, full of everything that made its past offerings so successful. With functional but stylish pieces, sacai’s soft and feminine touches juxtapose with Nike’s athletic sensibilities, while delicate details are employed amid Nike’s bold branding. Abe also utilizes material that aren’t normally associated with Nike — wool and lace. Infinitely more luxurious, the classic Nike branded sweatshirt is remixed with panels of cabled wool and frills. The popular Dunk Lux also makes a return. Anticipate the sacai x NikeLab Holiday collection to begin hitting stores December 10.
