The Petersen Automotive Museum Reopens With Gorgeous New Design
95,000 square feet of automotive perfection.
Having undergone 14 months of renovation, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is due to reopen to the public on December 7 in a stunning new exterior design that is enveloped in a curtain of stainless steel ribbons. Inside, 95,000 square feet of exhibition space contain 25 galleries over three floors of the most beautiful and iconic cars in automotive history, mirroring the fluid lines of the exterior. Covering everything from European race cars to California custom hot rods, the exhibits contain such gems as the 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner, 1936 Type 57sc Bugatti Atlantic, the Batmobile, and also the Pontiac Aztec from Breaking Bad.
